Bella

Bella is a Thoroughbred in her mid teens. She is incredibly sweet and easy-going.

Bobbi

Bobbi is an Appaloosa in her mid teens. She was rescued from an abuse situation on a reservation. With one-on-one work she will learn to trust humans again. She has UVeitis so she is required to wear a special flymask at all times. She is pictured without one so you can see her face. She is tricky to work with, sweet yet evasive... but carrots hardly ever fail.

Cal

Cal is a Quarter Horse Cross in his late teens. We rescued him from the feedlot in Fallon, NV. He has recovered fully from an ulcer in his eye and maintains complete vision. At first he is shy but loves to have his withers scratched.

Calamity

Calamity is a 20 year old Appendix Quarter Horse. She was rescued from a private owner. She is friendly and smart. The brand on her hip suggests she may have once been bucking stock.

Charlene

Charlene is a Registered Quarter Horse and is 3 years old. She was rescued from a Premarin Farm in Canada. She's growing up to look just like her mom.

Cheyenne

Cheyenne is a Quarter Horse and is 9 years old. She was rescued from an abusive situation where she had been repeatedly injected with Meth. She is very smart, halter-broke, sound and supposedly trained to ride. Last fall we were granted an opportunity to stroke her face, which for her, is enormous progress. It was an amazing experience and gives us hope that we may one day win her back with attention and love. We do not know the extent of the damage caused by the injections but she appears healthy and happy.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a 13 year old Arabian. She is very mellow. She has bonded well to the other mares in her pen.

Ellie

Ellie is a Registered Quarter Horse and is about 25 years old. Her registered name is "Docs Elegant Lady."

Eva

Eva is a Tennessee-Walker Arabian cross. She is roughly 5 years old. Due to her past abuse situation she trusts men more than women. She is slowly regaining her trust with one-on-one work.

Freckles

Freckles is an Appendix Quarter Horse in his early twenties. He was rescued from the feedlot in Fallon, NV. He enjoys running wildly around his pasture.

Hope

Hope is a Registered Quarter Horse Paint cross around 10 years old. She is incredibly sweet. She had laminitis in the past but never appears lame.

Kahlua

Kahlua is a Quarter Horse in her mid twenties. She likes to stick her tongue out at other horses. She was formerly from a dude-string. She is very gentle on the ground but has a lot of spirit while under saddle.

Katie

Katie is an Appendix Quarter Horse in her late teens. She is blind in her left eye but gets around great and is still full of energy.

King

King is some kind of Gaited horse and is around 2 years old. He is not yet halter-broke but that could change with additional one-on-one attention. We rescued him from the feedlot in Fallon, NV along with, who we consider his brother, Prince. He has smooth gaits when he trots and canters.

Lacey

Lacey is a Quarter Horse Arabian cross around 11 years old. She is incredibly sweet and gets along very well with other horses. Unfortunately she has degenerative suspensory ligament disorder and therefore cannot be rode. Fortunately she is in no pain due to this condition.

Libby

Libby is a Quarter Horse Arabian cross around the age of 3. She was rescued from the Chino Valley livestock auction in Spring of 2007. Originally came to the ranch with left-side paralysis but her condition has improved to the point at which it is no longer evident. She is a curious little pocket pony.

Mariah

Mariah is a Quarter Horse (Blue Roan) in her early twenties. She is affectionate towards humans and gets along very well with other horses. Unfortunately she has degenerative suspensory ligament disorder and therefore cannot be rode. Fortunately she is in no pain due to this condition.

Merri

Merri is a Quarter Horse Arabian cross in her early twenties. She is very well bonded with Peso.

Missy

Missy is an Appaloosa in her mid to late teens. Her registered name is "Missle Flight." We rescued her from a Premarin Farm in Canada.

Missy Too

Missy Too is a Quarter Horse in her early to mid teens. She was rescued from a feedlot in Fallon, NV. She is shy to a halter but loves attention when you're not trying to halter her.

Montana

Montana is an Arabian in her mid teens. He was rescued from a feedlot in Fallon, NV. He is shy, once caught he is still cautious but very willing to work with a gentle hand.

Pepe

Pepe is a horse that came to us with one eye, the other had been removed surgically after complications with an injury. He was a private rescue and suffers from a degenerative disease as well, however he is full of life and enjoys every day at the ranch.

Peso

Peso is a Quarter Horse around 8 years old. She came to us pregnant with Maverick, who is doing wonderfully in his new home. She is very cautious and avoids contact with us. Due to her previous experience with humans at the Premarin Farm we rescued her from, she may never regain trust for humans. Still, we love her and will gladly let her live out her days here at the ranch.

Prince

Prince is some kind of Gaited horse and is around 2 years old. He is not yet halter-broke but that could change with additional one-on-one attention. We rescued him from the feedlot in Fallon, NV along with, who we consider his brother, King. He has smooth gaits when he trots and canters.

Sensation

Sensation is a Polish Arabian in her early teens. She never got along well with other horses until we tried her with Eva and they've happily been pasture-mates ever since.

Shadow

Shadow is an Appendix Quarter Horse in his early teens. He was rescued from the feedlot in Fallon, NV.

Sonny

Sonny is an Andalusian and is about 18 years old. He has special shoeing needs on his front left hoof due to some accident of his past but he is still in great shape and enjoying life.

Spirit

Spirit is an Arabian that is in his late teens. Just like his name, he is very spirited and can be quite a hand-full. It takes patience to win him over.

Spot

Spot is in her early teens. We are not sure what breed to place her under, her features are inconclusive. She was rescued from the feedlot in Fallon, NV.

Starlight

Starlight is an Arabian about 3 years old. She was rescued from an abusive situation on a reservation. She is young, curious, spunky, playful and enjoying life.

Sweetie

Sweetie is a Quarter Horse around 10 years old. She was rescued from the feedlot in Fallon, NV. She more than lives up to her name.

Tennille And Wildfire

Tennille is a Quarter Horse around 10 years old. She is shy, but curious and will eat from your hand. The handsome young colt by her side is Wildfire. He was born at the ranch March 24, 2008. We only knew of her pregnancy the last few months of her gestation. Unbeknownst to us at the time, were able to save two lives the day we brought her from the feedlot in the Fall of 2007. Wildfire has been imprinted since birth so he will grow up to be a friendly as can be towards humans.

Trickery

Trickery is all Thoroughbred. Quite obvious as he stands tall at 17.2 hands. He is around 15 years old. He was trained and rode dressage and came to us when a woman that initially rescued, loved and cared for him passed away. His name falls short of describing his behavior, because he is actually very sweet.

Wyatt

Wyatt is a Registered Arabian Saddlebred in his early twenties. He was rescued from a private owner.
