Feathers Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation, operates primarily on two ranches, Circle Mountain Ranch in New River and Circle L Rescue Ranch in Prescott. Currently, our ranches are home to 70 horses, over 300 dogs, and nearly 100 cats. We also house two geese, cattle, goats and sheep.
In addition to our ranches, we have a large network of foster families who have opened their homes to animals that we have no additional room to accommodate. Our group specializes in the rescue and “new hope” of dogs and cats on
the euthanasia lists, pulling them from County facilities and
relocating them to one of our facilities, or to one of our foster
homes.
Despite such a large network, we operate with a very small, but committed staff who love animals. Circle L Ranch has only a handful of fulltime employees who live and work on the ranches. For this reason, we rely heavily on our very large network of volunteers who donate their time to assist us with animal care, cleaning, feeding, adoptions, and events.
Circle L Rescue envisions a time when all animals are
recognized as an integral part of our natural world. Animals are be
honored, protected, and preserved.
Circle L Rescue envisions
being a permanent community resource. It is our mission to instill
compassion and stewardship in young minds and a place to reconnect the
public with the beauty and benefits of all animal life and habitat.
Circle L Rescue envisions a time when the community as a whole participates in the safekeeping of the natural world.
