Feathers Foundation, our 501(c)3 organization, was founded by Dr. Deborah Wilson. Her love of animals has inspired many and her committment to them is nothing short of extraordinary.
Beginning with the rescue of birds, both exotic and domestic, Dr. Wilson quickly expanded her idealism to include the rescue of horses, goats, cattle and of course, to dogs and cats. There is no such thing as an animal that is "left behind" in the Feathers Foundation.
Before long, two ranches were founded where the "un-adoptable" could live out their remaining years in a loving environment. The first ranch, Circle L, is located in Prescott Valley. This ranch houses our many horses, goats, cattle and senior and special needs dogs. Circle Mountain Ranch is located in New River and houses the majority of our more "easily adoptable" dogs. Foster homes throughout the state assist us in providing temporary sanctuaries for our cats and very young or special-needs animals.
The one thing that Feathers Foundation realizes is that it takes a pack to save a pet!
